Honestly not sure who had more fun the kids or mom and dad. We went all out, showed up in pirate costumes, and had a blast. Our three year old loved it, my husband and I truly enjoyed the day, and even our pre-teens had fun. Truly a fun family vacation that our kids still talk about.
Amazing adventure for young and old! The pirate ship staff are amazing and make sure all the kids have a wonderful time. They let the kids drive the ship if they want, and hunt for treasure - even letting them bring home some special treasure of their own. Great story line and lots of fun had by all! Even with infants, staff made sure we were all enjoying our time.
We have eaten many times at the restaurant and the good food and friendly service is always appreciated. We took some out of town guests on the youth excursion and they enjoyed the show and digging for buried treasure. For those that did not go on the cruise the restaurant staff took great care of us while we waited. My son is deployed oversees with the Marine Corp and we were able to skype him in to join the fun! They were so accommodating and we have found this to be the case each time we dine with them! One of the few places on the lake if you show up near closing time that you don't get rushed through your meal. Great folk, great food and no surprise that the cruises are the same way! We sure did love it when you had Gypsy Jade! We miss her!
It was the hottest day of the year (Saturday July 22, 2017) but it was an amazing experience! All of our crew, kids and adults, had a great time. I would recommend this to anyone!
We had a wonderful cruise around the lake for a relaxing Friday evening! Be sure to get your drinks before getting on the ship as they don't serve alcohol on board. It is best to get a 'bone' version of your favorite drink. We did bones of the Bob (one frozen and one on the rocks). It was awesome!
